The First Step in Giving All Your Problems to Christ

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7

All my life I’ve heard people talk about giving all their problems and worries to Christ. I always knew this was a good idea, and maybe had tried it a little myself from time to time. But I’d never really understood what it meant until just recently. Even then, I’m only beginning to realize the importance and the power of doing this.

The biggest piece of the whole thing (that didn’t make sense to me before) was what I believe is the first step, which is to trust Jesus enough to believe that He can and will take it all for you and even that He wants to. It’s the belief that He’s got this. all of it.

At its core, this means giving up any worries you may have about whether or not you’ll make it with whatever you’re giving to Him. That means you have to let go of the fears you’re holding onto. It’s giving up the worries you have about whether or not you’ll make it. And just giving in to the deepest levels of trust and vulnerability in letting Him take care of all of it.

In practice, this may appear in the form of trusting that He will take care of any future times when you may struggle with or suffer from this problem again. It’s the belief that you don’t need to worry about those anymore. He’s got them from now on.

Giving all of your problems to Christ is letting go of the fears and pains that Satan would have you hold onto. It’s letting go of the mindsets that hold you back, including the victim, greed, and suffering mindsets. You must give up the bad so that you can let the light of Jesus into your life to destroy the darkness and replace it with warmth, comfort, peace, and understanding.

I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that He is a real being and that He is there for you and for me. He wants to take every last one of our worries and problems and carry them for us. He wants us to be free from the pain of all of those things. It’s his will that we should feel the utmost confidence that He can take it all.

He wants us to feel comfort and confidence in knowing that He loves us enough to be willing to do that, whatever it takes, so that we can make it through our problems to find success, peace, and happiness.
